Candidates for Governor, Election 2014
Samoa Heritage Week will kick off August 5, 2014, with a combined church service hosted at the Kanana Fou Church in Kunia, Hawaii-with services conducted by Reverend Elder Falelua Lafitaga. A variety of activities are scheduled throughout the week for the celebration such as, cricket and volleyball games, entertainment and workshops, farm fair, rugby tournament, and cultural demonstrations focused on food, crafts, and more. Closing ceremony will also be at the Keehi Lagoon Park on Friday the 11th from 8am-12pm, with a Color Presentation by the US Marines, a Traditional Ava Ceremony, a Keynote speech by Governor Togiola Tulafono, and special remarks by the Governor of Hawaii, Neil A. Abercrombie.
