The blogger Brent Budowsky at thehill.com blog is now predicting that Ron Paul will beat Mitt Romney in a one-on-one matchup in the Virginia primary. Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, Rick Perry, Jon Huntsman, and Michele Bachmann all failed to make the Virginia ballot. Santorum, Huntsman, and Bachmann didn’t even submit a single signature to attempt to be on the ballot.
Budowksy predicts that Ron Paul will win because the conservative movement will unite behind him in order to defeat Romney. Only the most liberal neocons will refuse to vote for Mitt Romney. With a significant win in a large state like Virginia, Ron Paul will be well on his way to winning the Republican nomination.
