Rick Perry President in 2012

Tim James

Governor Rick Perry of Texas

Rick Perry as Governor of Texas.
A shot in the arm: In 2007, Perry bypassed the state legislature and signed an executive order making Texas the only state in the nation to require 6th grade girls to receive a vaccination against a sexually-transmitted virus that causes cervical cancer. At the time, Perry's former chief of staff, Mike Toomey, was a lobbyist for Merck, the manufacturer of the vaccine. When conservative Christians protested, the legislature repealed his order.

Rick Perry and George Bush

Rick Perry Governor

As for Perry, he did support and sign the Texas Dream Act and he is opposed to any form of physical barrier between the USA and his "darling" political friends in Mexico. Like Bush, Jr., Perry's familiarity with the Mexican political class is too close to allow him to make the right decisions when it comes to protecting the sovereignty and the security of the citizens of the USA.

See link on some of the history and background of Rick Perry, and her is the link to Lelleigh Nelson's other articles. She has written a series on the Phony Right Wing, detailing some of the other RINO"s that are running, just as she did with Rich Perry. She lives near me in the Knoxville, TN area, and I have gotten to know her. She researches things and tells it like it is. Check out some of her other articles. http://www.newswithviews.com/Nelson/kelleighA.htm

The biggest problem most Texans have with Perry is a little deal called the Trans Texas Corridor. Check these sites http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/front/6196406.html and http://www.corridorwatch.org/ttc/index.htm for more information.
Short version is that it was supposed to be massively wide (I believe several football fields wide) and run all the way from the border in Laredo up to St. Louis. The intention was to allow traffic from Mexico to run unimpeded along this corridor with no border checks. Perry was all for it( and it may have been his idea. I don't know) until the property owners affected by this swooped down on lhis head and laid down the law. A proposition was passed by voters to prevent any such action in the future. I can't give you any detail. I didn't even know that it would affect my property until a friend clued me in. Public meetings were not even held until it was supposedly a done deal. I became aware just in time to vote for the proposition to stop it. I was told, but have no confirmation other than word of mouth, that property that had always been protected by Texas Homstead Law was being siezed and owners were not being compensated.

The result was that he would not have even been considered for reelection if our choices had not been so poor. Long and short...Do Texans trust Perry? Not one bit further than we can throw him.

Signing an executive order mandating that 11- and 12-year-old girls in Texas be given the vaccine Gardasil was not the move of a "conservative", whether or not the drug had been only on the market a year and had been lobbied by its mfg. quite heavily to the state legislator which were bypassed by Gov. Perry.

The strong debate was all that stood in the way of State mandated medicine which has since proved unsafe in some cases.

And then there is the case of the Texas Super Hwy, again strongly opposed by property owners who would have had to surrender their land. Check this llink out for an indepth analysis. It points out just where he came from and who he is today. It does not paint him as a conservative, but a big gov't NWO RINO.

Perry stood by and let Texas’s TSA anti-groping bill die in the state legislature. According to observers, instead of promoting the bill, Perry dithered. He never pressed the lieutenant governor to call the bill during the regular legislative session. Only after Perry was shamed by a legislator did he agree to put the bill on the agenda during the Texas Legislature’s recently concluded special session.
After passing in the house, it stalled in the Senate. But behind the scenes, Perry had been stonewalling the bill. The bill failed to pass because of Rick Perry. Rick Perry and TSA

Big Government Education. Perry backed No Child Left Behind which became law through the efforts of both John Boehner and Ted Kennedy for President George W. Bush. "It is basically the United Nations Lifelong Learning-Brainwashing Agenda under the umbrella of what will eventually be "unelected" school and community councils (council is defined as "soviet" in many dictionaries) which will make all decisions for us at the local level."

He basically stood by and prevented Texas from moving forward with legislation that would halt TSA violations of privacy and freedom: http://dailycaller.com/2011/06/30/a-texas-sized-let-down/ This is also BAD. Remember, he still supports the TTC! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwrQhiuX35E http://www.lonestarreport.org/Portals/0/Blog/Files/4/1227/Simpson-letter-to-Perry.pdf http://grassrootstexans.net/4198/For_the_Record_The_TEXAS_HOUSE_Killed_the_Sanctuary_City_and_TSA_Bills/ http://www.lonestarreport.org/Portals/0/Blog/Files/4/1227/Simpson-letter-to-Perry.pdf http://grassrootstexans.net/4198/For_the_Record_The_TEXAS_HOUSE_Killed_the_Sanctuary_City_and_TSA_Bills/ -----Original Message----- From: Vern Bearden beardenstrings@nehp.net Sent: Saturday, August 13, 2011 To: beardenstrings@nehp.net Subject: Rick Perry info Mother Jones - Rick Perry's Biggest Controversies
another Mexas resident who is against perry for president. He really does go the way the wind blows. He talked that the end of sanctuary cities was an "emergency" around election time. but when the chips were down, he left Texas to gallivant around the country trying to build up support for his candidacy. we couldn't get sanctuary cities legislation passed because the money people didn't want sanctuary cities stopped. Perry Homes, a major home builder in Texas, gave Rick Perry $1 million in four separate transactions, on two different days, link below the real reason we couldn't get sanctuary cities bill passed in texas. http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/metropolitan/falkenberg/7629698... and a video on the culprits behind defeating sanctuary cities. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1q9FCr9KGlc perry's record on illegal immigration http://hub.numbersusa.com/route/0/4e31c620b8880a5080000000/482144/9 http://www.texastribune.org/library/data/perrys-circle/ Rick Perry's Biggest Controversies
in 2001, he signed into law the texas dream act, which gave in state college tuition rates to illegal children who had been in the state for 3 years or more. against federal law from 1996 which said you have to provide the same rates to ALL students, in state or out of state. i can't reference the law at present. but it is there.

pusher hard for Trans Texas Corridor which would have taken a million and a half of prime texas real estate and put it into toll roads owned and run by foreigners. until the people of texas forced his hand.

signed executive order mandating HPV vaccine for all young girls if certain age regardless of parental concerns. had to rescind order at next legislature after it was voted down. (cronyism?) http://www.texastribune.org/library/data/perrys-circle/
