Vote Conservative - Encourage People in your church to Vote
Vote Tuesday Nov 7
On Tuesday, Nov 7, remember your moral, civic, and patriotic duty to vote.
Polls will be open from 7AM to 7PM.
Alabama voters will be electing a governor, several state wide offices, and the entire Alabama Legislature.
Our future is at stake.
Remember to go vote, and take a friend with you.
Give to church secretary.
Copy and send by email to friends, beginning with church secretary. It is perdicted that only 35 to 40% of the voters will vote in the Nov 2007 election. Which means about 60% of the people in your church will not make it to the polls. Unfortunately, one of worst participants of voting is church members, especially Your church. The Jessie Jackson crowd will turn out in volume, but members of your church tend to be too laid back.
To encourage voter participation, ensure the above is published in your church bulletin.
Another worthy project is to give out Voter Guides in your church. This is another reminder to vote, and provides education on issues on who to vote for. To obtain your Voter Guides, contact www.ccbama.org.
To Cut Your Taxes Vote Republican Nov 7
THIS ELECTION IS A REFERENDUM ON THE ISSUES
* STOP ANNUAL PROPERTY TAX INCREASES The amendment to allow judges to order taxes to support public
schools. The Amendment 2 issue voted on November of 2004 will not go away.
The liberals almost got this passed again in the regular session of the
Alabama Legislature. This proposed constitutional amendment would
guarantee every child a "right to an education" in Alabama. While this
sounds good on the surface, this would open the door to allowing judges
to order tax increases so that the public schools would do a better job
of providing a "right to an education". This was the specific argument
used by Judge Gene Reese when he ordered a tax increase of 1.7 billion
upon the taxpayers of Alabama. This judge ordered tax increase was
stopped by Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore and the Alabama Supreme
Court. The liberal news media and liberal politicians recommended
passage of this bad legislation. Chief Justice Roy Moore and the Alabama
Christian Coalition opposed it. While the Amendment 2 was defeated in
November 2004, the liberals are trying to pass it in the Alabama
Legislature. The issue is still not dead. (Read
