How to use SEO friendly titles in Textpattern

For some reason the default title tag in Textpattern is set to display the site name followed by the title of the post. This is not as search engine friendly as it could be since having the site name in every page means that your page titles are less unique. To change this, login to the administration portion of your textpattern blog and click on the Presentation tab. Then select the archive template page on the right hand side. You should see this line:

<title><txp:page_title /></title>

Simply replace it with this code:

<title><txp:title /></title>

Once you save the template your post titles should now be unique without having your site name in each one.
